Helix Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar technologies used by Helix

Last updated: August 29, 2026

1. What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Helix uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit https://gethelixworks.com/ or use browser-based portions of Lens and related Helix services.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files or similar browser storage technologies that websites and web applications use to remember information, maintain sessions, support security, and understand how a service is used. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, SDK events, and comparable browser or application storage mechanisms.

3. How Helix uses cookies

4. Authentication and connected services

Lens currently relies on third-party identity and source-control services such as GitHub and GitLab for authentication and repository authorization. Those third parties may use their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with their services, including during sign-in or authorization flows. Their technologies are governed by their own privacy and cookie practices.

5. Google technologies

Helix uses Google services for cloud infrastructure, monitoring, logging, email, and analytics. Where Google Analytics or similar analytics technologies are enabled on a Helix website or Service, those technologies may collect browser, device, usage, event, and interaction information to help Helix understand product performance and usage.

6. Your choices

Most browsers allow you to block, delete, or limit cookies through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website or Service from functioning correctly. Where legally required and technically applicable, Helix may provide additional cookie preference controls for non-essential technologies.

7. Do Not Track and privacy signals

Browser privacy signals and legal requirements continue to evolve. Where applicable law requires Helix to recognize a legally valid opt-out preference signal for a particular processing activity, Helix will handle that signal as required by law. The Service does not sell Customer Data or use Customer Data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our website, Service, vendors, or legal obligations change. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
